If you hadn't already heard, David Byrne just released a collaborative album with Fatboy Slim called Here Lies Love. It's 22-songs about the life of the former First Lady of the Phillipines, Imelda Marcos, and features guest vocals by Cyndi Lauper, Tori Amos, Santigold, Sharon Jones, Roisin Murphy, St. Vincent and many more. Many of the lyrics are constructed from actual Imelda quotes, and the uptempo beats of many of the songs reflect her love of disco and dancing. I like a lot of them, but can't single out one for posting.
