Local Mission lady: Meklit Hadero

I interviewed Meklit about her debut album, On a Day Like This, recently, and it was such a pleasure to talk to this girl. She also gave me a sonic tour of the Mission where she lives and works, and I loved being able to enjoy the sounds of this neighborhood.

The song "Soleil Soleil" is my favorite of hers -- it's got a great rhythm.
