CDC Upgrades

Another PSA here. The CDC has just received two enhancements:


UPGRADE 1) Add your song to the player your damn self.

I've set up an anonymous account for us at imeem. To add your submission to the player follow these simple steps:

1. Point your browser at www.imeem.com
2. Login as:
   email: thecompactdiscclub@gmail.com
   password: thecdc0408
   (you may be able to skip this step on subsequent visits)
3. Use the search function to find your song. Make sure you've located the song and not a video (there are icons to indicate this), and click on the song's title.
4. Under the Play/Pause button in the player you should see a link button that says "Playlist". Click this to expand a little box with more controls
5. Select the appropriate month's playlist and click "Add". Voila. It's in there.

UPGRADE 2) Upload/Download MP3s

Download:
(updated) For those who want to obtain the tracks from a distance - you'll see a new omnipresent box at the top of the right-hand panel. Click the link to download the goods. I have September up now, and August is mid-upload.

Upload:
For those with actual mp3 copies of the tracks in question and who want to share the wealth - you can upload them like so:

1. Point your browser at www.mediafire.com
2. Login as:
   email: thecompactdiscclub@gmail.com
   password: thecdc0408
   (same credentials as imeem)
3. Click on "Upload" files and follow the easy steps (make sure you select the correct month/folder for the upload just after it begins)

Also - if it is of any use to you, we have a gmail account with the same credentials as the sites above - feel free to use it wherever it proves useful.

Oh - and do not feel you need to add your song on imeem or upload anything to mediafire - I plan to keep up my role as custodian, no problem. Just wanted to give more power to the people. Please do not hesitate to email me if you need some help with anything. It's all pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
