This is probably old news to everyone here, but pandora is my new favorite thing. Pandora appears to be a great way to expose yourself to lots of music that's similar to the music you already like. It uses what it calls 'the music genome project' to (a) find similarities in music by beat or harmony, and (b) to appeal to biogeeks like myself with a catchy name (I love all -omes).
If you've got a good wifi connection and an touch/iPhone, there's a Pandora application that works great for streaming audio.
It's the greatest thing to happen to my cell culture since, well, ever.
