It's Canada Day. Happy Canada Day! A perfect day to post about a UK band methinks.


You may have heard Friendly Fires on a recent Wii Fit commercial. Seems Nintendo is going the way of Apple and springing for cool music by cool bands on their way up. Ok, maybe it's more clever than cool, but I don't mind if bands touring in VW Vans 'sell-out' for gas money.


iTunes just released On Board as a single on iTunes, and the band should be releasing their first LP soon.
