Fresh Blood :: Eels

So,

Eels, right? "Novocaine for the Soul"? And then a bunch of weird art-rock albums and then silence.

But now "E" is back with "Hombre Lobo". I know you all know what that means, and can probably guess why he titled the album as such based on the album cover. But the important thing to take away is that the new Eels album seems to have found that balance between cool rock experiment and being "Po Mo". (You know, weird for the sake of weird.)

The "lobo-iest" of the tracks is definitely "Fresh Blood". I know because of the howl. Please howl too.

Nerdy footnote:
"E", aka Mark Oliver Everett, is the son of physicist Hugh Everett III, originator of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum theory and of the use of Lagrange multipliers for general engineering optimizations. When Mark was 19, he found his father lying dead in bed. Okay - so I thought that was interesting.
