Saturday Waits - Lonely, Dear
Lonely, Dear is singer/songwriter Emil Svanängen.
I first heard of Emil while reading about ex-Grandaddy lead singer Jason Lytle,
with whom he shares commonalities. Relationship-based songs, falsetto-esque singing, as well as a desire to play all the instruments. Myself being a control freak can relate/appreciate this type of musician.
Very nice. I like how the bass line is allowed to be non-conforming in places. Plus he's still making music, so that's a plus. ;)
