Beach Town::Le Loup

A 5 piece ensemble from the DC metro area, Le Loup seems to occupy space in my mental rollodex as Animal Collective, but perhaps with a little more edge. Beach Town is off their new release Family, and for lack of a better word, it just sounds thick to me (I have a soft spot for attempted articulation of tastes or sounds - "the old vine Zinfandel had a good mouthfeel, unfolding with notes of leather, cassis and ostrich feet").

This month, Le Loup are the only ones I want to screw when I am not on tour.

I like them so much, I'd be willing to kiss them even after they swallow my load.
