Secretly delivered to radio stations everywhere yesterday, less than 24hrs after it was mastered, Trent Reznor has made public a new mystery single, "Discipline", from an album the mp3 tag calls "?", whatever that means. Also embedded in the mp3 is the message "Go to http://www.nin.com/ on May 5th". Maybe we'll find out what the "?" means then.
On the heels of the March release of Ghosts I-IV, a multi-album instrumental project, and the 2007 LP "Year Zero", and even 2005's "With Teeth", Mr. Reznor has seen a staggering uptick in his prolificity after a decade of releasing albums every five years.
