Man, I got the January Mix in the mail not too long ago, and I can't stop playing it! What a great mix! (and I don't say this just because three of my picks made it to the disc). Nice job everybody --
I've got a couple of songs for ya'll, and they are of the latin persuasion, hopefully you will like. :)
This one is a take on one of my favorite spanish songs of all time. You can hear the original sung by the late and great Mercedes Sosa here.
But the video is of a guy from Cuba called El Chacal. They are dubbing this style of music "Cubaton" -- a mix of Cuban son, salsa, and reggaeton.
It's a fun one.
