Lust for Life :: Girls

Later this year will mark the tenth anniversary of my life in California. I can't think a more perfectly glossy and shimming manifestation of that time here than San Francisco's own Girls, and their song Lust for Life.

With stints in real cults and umpteen drug-induced dreams as influences, Girls have crafted a pop classic that just can't wait for summer. Or at least, I couldn't.
